Sunlit Pebbles

Location: Bloody Foreland Beach, Knockfola Lower, Wild Atlantic Way, County Donegal,
Large smooth pebbles are bathed in the afternoon sunlight on the pebble beach beside Bloody Foreland in Knockfola Lower near Bunbeg in County Donegal. Bloody Foreland is a broad headland at the northwest corner of Ireland, between Ballyness Bay to the north and Gweedore to the south. The headland got its name because the sun, particularly at evening, lights up the rocks to a reddish hue.
