Bloody Foreland Sunset

Location: Bloody Foreland Headland near Bunbeg, Wild Atlantic Way, County Donegal
The rays of the setting sun highlight a gap in the rocks at Bloody Foreland in Co. Donegal. Bloody Foreland is a broad headland at the northwest corner of Ireland, between Ballyness Bay to the north and Gweedore to the south. The headland got its name because the sun, particularly at evening, lights up the rocks to a reddish hue.
