Great Pollet Sea Arch

Beautiful sea arches exist all around the world. The Great Pollet Sea Arch on the eastern shores of the Fanad Peninsula in County Donegal, Ireland is a fine example of their beauty. Sea arches commonly form where cliffs meet the sea. A sea arch is created when the natural erosive forces of the sea break through a section of rock and after many years of continuous erosion leaves behind an arch.
