Dunree Sunset
Location: Milltown Beach, Looking Towards Dunree Head, Innishowen, County Donegal.
Dunree Head is on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal in Ireland. The headland juts into Lough Swilly 10km northwest of Buncrana. Peaks rise against the ocean, buffered by the occasional bend of sandy, smooth beach. At the tip of the head, Fort Dunree hides in the jagged sea cliffs.
This photograph was used as the front cover of the January 2012 issue of the "Photography Monthly" magazine.
