Moonrise At Narrow Water Castle - Warrenpoint
Location: Narrow Water Castle, Newry Road, Warrenpoint, County Down

An early evening moonrise shines down on Narrow Water Castle in the twilight. There has been a Keep or as some people say Castle at this site since the 13th Century. It was originally built by Hugh De Lacy, the first Earl of Ulster, to prevent river borne attacks on the town of Newry 6 miles further up the river.
