Cloughmore Sunset

Cloughmore or “The Big Stone” as it is commonly known is a large granite boulder lying on the slopes of Slieve Martin above the town of Rostrevor. It is a very popular tourist attraction romanticised by local legend that the stone was thrown from the Cooley Mountains, on the other side of Carlingford Lough, by the giant Finn McCool.
