An early evening moonrise shines down on Narrow Water Castle in the twilight. There has been a Castle or Keep at this site since the 13th Century. It was originally built by Hugh De Lacy, the first Earl of Ulster, to prevent river borne attacks on the town of Newry 6 miles further up the river.
