Mystical Moon Circle
Location: The Moon

This is the first time I have ever seen one of these. I spotted it late last night as I was just about to get into bed. It's a "moon halo" or "moon ring" which is apparently caused when the moonlight is refracted in millions of hexagonal ice crystals suspended in the upper atmosphere. It was quite an impressive sight to behold.
