Causeway Evening
Location: Giant's Causeway, Causeway Road, Bushmills, County Antrim,
According to ancient legend, the Giant’s Causeway was built many years ago by an Irish warrior called Finn MacCool, so he could cross the sea over to Scotland. This can be difficult to prove or disprove. However geologists today, firmly believe it is the result of an ancient volcanic eruption that cooled slowly to form the distinctive hexagonal columns.
