Moonrise Over St Kevins Church
Location: St. Kevin's Church, Glendalough Monastic City, Co. Wicklow.
Built in the 12th century, St. Kevin's Church at the Glendalough Monastic City has seen many moon rises over the centuries. I've been to this location several times before but never for a moonrise. I had to be quick to get this photograph as after about 10 minutes it very quickly clouded over and the moon was gone from view for the rest of the night.
